Dockside has the ability to cater for anything from intimate gatherings of 10 to sit down dinners for 150 or cocktail functions for up to 300 people, with three diverse function areas available.

We offer an extensive range of menu choices; once you have selected your preferred menu, leave the rest to us. Our friendly and efficient staff provides full service for all dining and cocktail functions.

With an extensive and continually evolving wine list on offer we are happy to discuss appropriate wine options to suit your menu, requirements and budget.

We are able to cater to all preferences and dietary requirements.

Every function is unique and we are happy to discuss any special requests or ideas you may have to suit your individual needs.

Dockside prides itself on offering “stress free” function planning. Every detail from music, audio equipment, table settings, themes or flowers is happily arranged by us on your behalf.

We have three separate function spaces that can be booked for private events, the various capacities and details of the spaces are listed below.

Private Room:

Standing capacity – 40pax

Seated capacity – 20pax (18pax is ideal)

AV equipment: Projector

Notes: The private room does not have a separate sound system i.e. in house music only

Upstairs restaurant:

Standing capacity – 150pax

Seated Capacity – 65pax

AV equipment: Projector, handheld radio microphone, stand alone sound system

Notes: The upstairs restaurant is on the third floor so there is no wheelchair access, and no tap beer

Main Deck:

Standing capacity – 300pax

Seated capacity – 150pax

AV equipment: 55” plasma (fixed position), projector, handheld radio microphone, stand alone sound system

Notes:  The inside bar can also be hired with the deck to increase the standing capacity to 400pax  

 

As we have two dining areas and a fair bit of space in both, we can also accommodate groups of any size within these areas.

For example a group of 30 to 40 guests can be seated in a cordoned off area of the deck or upstairs restaurant, by using the barriers we have and some well placed signage it’s easy to make the cordoned off area feel like a private party.
