Dockside is a superb venue for a wedding celebration.

The view and the deck are fabulous, and we take pride in our food and service.

The setting itself allows a natural flow from pre-dinner drinks to dining and dancing.

Dockside may be used for a combined wedding ceremony and reception, or just as a reception venue.

As we are located right on the water and have HELiPRO nearby, arrival by boat or helicopter is possible, and makes for great photo opportunities.

We can comfortably accommodate up to 80 guests for a seated dinner in our first floor restaurant, or up to 120 seated guests on our waterside deck dining area with the flexibility to allow for after-dinner dancing.

The permanent marquee is versatile and can be opened up completely on summer’s days or closed to ensure a comfortable dining experience in Wellington's unpredictable weather conditions.

If you have in mind a more informal wedding celebration, standing cocktail parties are an alternative option.

Dockside can cater for up to 500 people offering canapes and dancing.

We highly recommend that you visit Dockside to get a feel for the ambience that can be created for your special day. An appointment can be made to show you around the venue and create a specialised package to cater to your requirements. Our in house wedding coordinator is happy to discuss any ideas you may have.

The minimum charge for exclusive use of Dockside for a Saturday evening is based on an individual package which incorporates cocktail food, 3 course dinner, beverages, DJ music, crockery & glassware and all staff excluding security.

Our in-house coordinator will work closely with you to ensure your budget level is adhered to.
